On October 3, Acreo had the pleasure to present Jan Elvelid. Jan is Managing Director of World Internet Institute. World Internet Institute is the home of the study “Svenskarna och Internet”. The study is an annual quantitative survey interviewing 2000 people as a representative sample of the Swedish population. The focus is Internet usage but also covering mobile, media in general, attitudes and non-usage.

World Internet Institute is an independent research institute ran as a non-profit organization by its members. The research is looking at the social, political and economic impact of the Internet and other new technologies. The institute was formed in 2000 to become the exclusive Swedish partner of World Internet Project, an international cooperation including over 25 countries from all over the world.
