We have a printing laboratory with equipment for manual screen-printing, plotting and UV curing.
Acreo has obtained 400000 Euro from the Swedish government via the Scientific Council (Vetenskapsrådet).
The funds is dedicated to purchase of a commercial printing press (Nilpeter Rotolabel 3300/5) to be used as a tool to implement printing of displays and electronics on flexible substrates at high speed in a reel-to-reel process. Several projects that will investigate printing of electronics have been initiated, one of them being the EC Paper project.
In our clean room lab we have equipment batch processing of electronics. Apart from more traditional equipment we also have a unique process line for production on large rigid substrates. Possible substrate size is up to 24´24 inch.
